Contentious Private Client Solicitor, 5+ PQE, London, Salary up to £65-75,000 (DOE). Following a period of notable success and growth, an outstanding opportunity has arisen for an ambitious lawyer to join the contentious trusts and probate team of this highly regarded Legal 500 firm.

THE ROLE: This leading law firm is seeking an experienced lawyer to join its dynamic Private Client team, handling a full spectrum of contentious trust and probate matters. Responsibilities will include advising on disputed wills, trustee claims, and Inheritance Act claims, as well as applications for the removal of executors, with the opportunity to work on contentious Court of Protection cases.

THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ PQE and demonstrate a strong understanding of contentious private client law, supported by solid technical expertise. You will possess excellent communication skills and provide personable, client‑focused guidance, helping clients navigate complex and sensitive matters. Additionally, STEP or ACTAPS qualifications would be highly advantageous.
