Defendant Personal Injury Solicitor – 4+ PQE, London, £70,000 - £80,000 DOE. Join a rapidly expanding national law firm recognised for its expertise within the insurance sector. THE ROLE: This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious Defendant Personal Injury Solicitor to join the London office of a highly regarded national law firm. The successful candidate will become part of a growing and high-performing insurance team acting on behalf of major insurers and policyholders across a wide range of complex and high-value claims. You will manage your own caseload of defendant Employer's Liability and Public Liability claims whilst also supporting partners on complex and high-profile litigation. The caseload will encompass both pre-action and litigated personal injury and property damage claims, ranging from fast-track matters through to multi-million-pound, multi-party disputes. The role will also involve advising clients on regulatory investigations and prosecutions involving the Health and Safety Executive, police and Care Quality Commission, attending coroner's inquests, and assisting with policy coverage disputes and interpretation issues. Instructions will primarily come from insurers acting on behalf of policyholders, together with direct non-insurance related instructions.

THE CANDIDATE: Applications are encouraged from Solicitors with a minimum of four years' PQE and strong experience handling defendant personal injury matters. You will possess extensive experience dealing with Employer's Liability and Public Liability claims and ideally have experience acting on behalf of insurers and policyholders. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent technical and drafting skills, strong commercial awareness and the ability to build and maintain client relationships. You will be highly organised, proactive and ambitious, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
