An outstanding opportunity for an experienced Childcare Solicitor to join a Legal 500 firm. In this position you will take the lead in managing appropriate caseloads whilst managing and supervising junior members of the team including solicitors, paralegals/caseworkers and trainee solicitors. THE ROLE:
Our client is looking for an experienced Childcare Solicitor who will play a pivotal role in providing expert advice to parents, guardians or CAFCASS appointed children’s guardians. You will take ownership of all aspects of childcare work, including providing expertise and guidance to team members and external clients. Duties in this role could include:
- legal aid/CCMS procedures
- emergency protection orders
- police protection orders
- child protection case reviews
- amongst others
THE CANDIDATE:
The candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ PQE working in a fast-paced legal firm within a Childcare Solicitor role. You will have the ability to work under pressure with limited supervision. You will have a high standard in liaising with clients, both written and verbally. With a strong client focus, the candidate will also be assisting with the delivery of training and development opportunities for the internal teams to ensure best practice.
