This specialist team within an award-winning national law firm is seeking additional talent to advise on complex data protection matters.
A highly regarded specialist team is seeking a talented solicitor or experienced data protection professional to join its growing contentious data protection and information governance practice. This is a hands-on role advising clients on complex Subject Access Requests, Freedom of Information Requests, data breaches and other challenging information law issues. You'll work on interesting, often high-profile matters alongside a supportive and collaborative team.
We're interested in hearing from qualified solicitors with data protection experience and in-house data protection professionals. You'll bring strong working knowledge of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act, with experience managing DSARs and FOIA requests. You will be able to demonstrate practical experience responding to personal data breaches and have a commercial, pragmatic approach to problem-solving. Experience in Cyber Attacks and contentious data protection matters, including tribunal proceedings, would be a distinct advantage.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a market-leading, collaborative team working at the forefront of an increasingly important and evolving area of law, with an extremely healthy workload. Whilst initially looking at this role on a FTC basis, there is the potential for the role to be extended or become a permanent contract.
