This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded corporate team in Cheltenham, working alongside experienced lawyers on a broad range of high-quality corporate matters.
The successful candidate will become part of a well-established and ambitious team, advising an impressive portfolio of UK and international clients across a variety of sectors.
The RoleYou will have the opportunity to work on a diverse caseload, including: Mergers and acquisitionsPrivate equity transactionsCorporate reorganisations and restructuringsJoint ventures and shareholder arrangementsGroup reorganisationsShare sales and acquisitionsCorporate governance and general advisory workSupporting senior lawyers on complex and high-value transactionsYou will work closely with Partners and senior members of the team while having increasing responsibility for your own matters and client relationships.
About YouWe are looking for a Corporate Associate with a strong grounding in corporate law and ideally experience gained within a reputable national, international or leading regional firm.
You will ideally have: Around 2–5 years' PQE, although applications from candidates outside this range will be consideredStrong experience across a range of corporate transactionsExcellent technical and commercial abilityThe confidence to deal directly with clientsStrong drafting and negotiation skillsA genuine interest in business and developing long-term client relationshipsThe ambition to progress your career within a highly regarded corporate practiceThe FirmThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a national law firm with an excellent reputation, a strong client base and a genuinely collaborative culture.
