We're looking for a credible, commercially minded professional who can provide robust advice, challenge stakeholders when necessary, and confidently navigate complex regulatory and compliance issues.

The Role

  • Lead on data protection and privacy matters across the organisation.
  • Act as the primary DPO, providing expert guidance on GDPR, UK data protection legislation and wider privacy obligations.
  • Advise senior stakeholders on risk, compliance, governance and regulatory matters.
  • Support the development and implementation of data protection policies, processes and best practice.
  • Manage data incidents, investigations, DPIAs and regulatory engagement where required.

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales or equivalent).
  • Strong, demonstrable DPO experience is essential.
  • Able to operate autonomously and influence at senior levels.
  • Pragmatic, commercially aware and comfortable making difficult decisions when required.
  • A "grown-up" operator who has walked the walk and can bring credibility, resilience and sound judgement to the role.
  • Experience within the healthcare sector would be highly advantageous, though not essential.
