Charity Solicitor, 5+ Years PQE, Milton Keynes, £60,000 - £85,000 (DOE) – A highly regarded UK law firm is looking to appoint a skilled and motivated Charity Solicitor to join their reputable private client team and handle interesting work on behalf of a wide ranging client base across the third sector. Great salary and benefits package plus hybrid working.

THE ROLE:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Charity Solicitor who is looking for the next step in their career. This expanding private client team is looking for a Charity Solicitor who has experience of setting up, administering and closing charities. You will be acting for a broad range of charity clients and advise on a variety of legal and regulatory matters including trustees duties, mergers, transfer of assets, and liaising with the Charity Commission.

THE CANDIDATE:

Applications are sought from specialist charity solicitors with 5+ years PQE in creating and registering charitable entities, advising trustees on duties, powers and governance, handling charity mergers as well as charity closures and de-registrations, as well as drafting policies. In addition to technical legal work, you will be expected to build and nurture strong client relationships as well as take part in business development and networking activities.
