Overview
In this role you will manage a dedicated childcare caseload within a forward-thinking firm in Cambridgeshire. You will advise parents and family members on childcare matters and handle orders and protection issues, leveraging your experience to support clients through complex proceedings. Responsibilities
- Manage own caseload of childcare matters
- Provide advice to parents, grandparents and other family members
- Handle child arrangement orders, special guardianship orders, care orders, emergency protection orders
- Attend pre-proceedings meetings and interim care orders
- Possibly undertake own advocacy
- Collaborate with team to deliver high-quality client service
Key requirements
- 1+ year PQE in childcare law
- Proven technical expertise in all aspects of childcare
- Ability to undertake advocacy where appropriate
