OVERVIEW:

  • A well regarded commercial law firm is seeking a Senior Defendant Personal Injury Litigator on a full time basis.
  • Manage a varied caseload of predominantly fast-track employers’ liability and public liability claims.
  • Handle files from the point of litigation through to trial.
  • Exposure to multi-track matters, including higher-value claims up to £350,000.
  • Play a key role in developing and delivering high quality defence strategies for an established client base.
  • Regular client interaction and collaboration within a growing, supportive team.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ PQE in defendant personal injury litigation.
  • Strong experience handling both fast-track and multi-track claims through to trial.
  • Confident managing cases independently with a solid understanding of the litigation process and civil procedure rules.
  • Excellent communication and IT skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Experience handling retail sector claims is advantageous.
  • Firm recognised for strong client relationships and commercially focused legal advice.
