An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Criminal Defence Solicitor to join a respected and growing criminal law practice. This role offers a varied caseload, regular advocacy opportunities and the chance to develop your career alongside experienced criminal practitioners.
A well‐established criminal defence practice is seeking a Criminal Defence Solicitor to join its busy team. The successful candidate will advise and represent clients across a broad range of criminal matters, providing expert legal guidance from the outset of proceedings through to conclusion. You will undertake advocacy in the Magistrates' Court, attend police stations where required and manage your own caseload, ensuring clients receive a high standard of representation throughout the criminal justice process. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to high quality work and further develop your advocacy and case management skills.
Applications are welcomed from Newly Qualified Solicitors and those with post‐qualification experience who have gained exposure to criminal defence matters. The successful candidate will possess strong communication and client care skills, a genuine interest in criminal law and advocacy, be organised, proactive and capable of managing competing priorities within a fast‐paced environment. Police Station Accreditation and/or Duty Solicitor status is essential.
