This is an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Contracts Solicitor in Leeds to take ownership of high-profile client work.
We are seeking an accomplished and commercially minded Solicitor to join a thriving commercial team in Leeds. The role offers exposure to a broad spectrum of commercial matters including general commercial contracts, IT, intellectual property, and privacy and data protection. You will have the chance to work with a diverse client base, from ambitious SMEs to national and international brands and contribute to a team that has delivered sustained growth in recent years. This position provides significant client contact and the opportunity to take increasing responsibility for strategic projects.
The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years' PQE in commercial law, with demonstrable experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts such as supply, purchase and distribution agreements, outsourcing arrangements, media and marketing contracts and technology agreements. You will be commercially focused, proactive and confident providing clear, pragmatic legal advice. Experience in IT-related matters such as SaaS agreements, software licensing and systems integration is highly desirable.
