A leading national law firm is looking to strengthen its specialist Data Protection & Information Governance team with the addition of a talented solicitor or experienced data protection professional. The Role
You’ll play a key role within a collaborative and highly regarded team, working on a wide range of contentious data protection and information law matters, including:
- Subject Access Requests (DSARs)
- Freedom of Information (FOI) requests
- Personal data breaches and incident response
- Wider data protection and information governance issues
This is a hands‑on position offering exposure to challenging work, with the chance to develop your expertise in a supportive and forward‑thinking environment.
About You
- Qualified solicitor with 2+ years PQE, or a skilled in‑house data protection professional
- Strong working knowledge of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act
- Proven experience handling DSARs, FOIA requests, and data breach responses
- A commercial, pragmatic approach to problem solving

- Experience in cyber incidents and contentious data protection matters
- Exposure to tribunal proceedings or litigation
