THE ROLE:

  • This is a key role within a growing practice, offering high-quality work, genuine responsibility and the support of a collaborative and well-resourced team.
  • You will advise and represent clients across the full spectrum of family childcare matters, delivering expert guidance in complex and sensitive cases while contributing to the continued growth and profile of the team.
  • You will be responsible for a varied childcare caseload to include child arrangements orders and contact disputes, parental responsibility matters, adoption proceedings, emergency applications and protection orders and public law childcare proceedings.
  • Advising and representing clients at court and tribunals, conducting advocacy where appropriate.
  • You will also be involved in business development activities and relationship building.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • This role is ideal for a proactive, enthusiastic and experienced childcare lawyer with a strong reputation for client care and technical excellence.
  • Applications are sought from Childcare Solicitors or Legal Executives with a minimum of 5 Years PQE.
  • Significant experience in complex family childcare matters.
  • Advocacy experience and confidence in court representation.
  • You will have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail and work well within a team environment.
