Residential Conveyancer | Stoke | 1–5 Years' Experience | Award-Winning Team

Are you an experienced Residential Conveyancer looking for your next career move?

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive, Licensed Conveyancer or experienced Conveyancer to join an award-winning Residential Property team based in Stoke.

The team was recently recognised as Conveyancing Firm of the Year 2026, reflecting its commitment to delivering an exceptional service to clients and referrers.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated conveyancer who wants to develop their career within a supportive, employee-owned law firm, working alongside experienced property professionals and becoming part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team.

The Role

You will manage your own varied residential conveyancing caseload, working with a high degree of autonomy from initial instruction through to post-completion.

Your work will include:

  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Remortgages
  • Transfers of equity
  • Shared ownership transactions
  • Plot purchases
  • Registered and unregistered titles
  • Post-completion matters

You will provide clear, practical advice throughout the transaction, ensuring clients receive an excellent level of service from instruction through to completion.

The role will also involve developing strong relationships with clients, introducers and colleagues, as well as contributing to the continued growth of the Residential Property Department.

As an experienced member of the team, there will also be opportunities to support and mentor junior colleagues, sharing your knowledge and helping to develop the wider team.

About You

The successful candidate will be a Solicitor, CILEX, Licensed Conveyancer or experienced Conveyancer with approximately 1–5 years' residential conveyancing experience.

You will have:

  • Proven experience managing a full residential conveyancing caseload independently
  • Strong technical knowledge across both freehold and leasehold transactions
  • Excellent client-care and communication skills
  • The ability to explain complex legal matters clearly and practically
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • A proactive and positive approach
  • A genuine commitment to delivering excellent service to clients and referrers
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a busy team

Experience with SOS Connect and the Land Registry Portal would be advantageous, as would experience mentoring or supporting junior team members.

Knowledge of more specialist residential property matters, including leasehold transactions, registered and unregistered titles and post-completion work, would also be beneficial.

If you are an experienced Residential Conveyancer looking for a role where you can take ownership of your caseload, work with a great team and continue to develop your career, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.
