This is a strategic hire for a firm looking to further strengthen and grow its insolvency offering in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be an established insolvency specialist with a strong reputation in the market, an existing client following and the commercial drive to develop new opportunities. The Role You will play a key role in developing the firm's insolvency practice, acting for a broad range of clients including insolvency practitioners, lenders, directors, shareholders, companies, creditors and other stakeholders. The role will involve a broad range of contentious and non-contentious insolvency matters, including: Corporate and personal insolvency. Corporate restructuring and turnaround. Insolvency litigation and contentious matters. Director disqualification and breach of duty claims. Preference, transaction at undervalue and antecedent transaction claims. Administrations, liquidations and receiverships. Creditor and shareholder disputes. Advising insolvency practitioners and financial institutions. Asset recovery and enforcement.
