About the role: This is a commercial role focused on finding founders with finance pain, starting conversations, getting briefs, and making placements. You will leverage proprietary data on every community member to personalise outreach effectively.
What you'll do:
- Run daily outbound to founders at UK startups and own the pipeline from first touch to signed brief.
- Use enki’s community data to personalise campaigns and match talent to companies before a brief has been written.
- Run the webinar program for founders, delivering value from community members via fortnightly webinars.
- Stay active in the enki CFO community to surface inbound leads and understand candidate availability.
- Support the placement process through intake calls, candidate briefings, and coordination.
- Maintain and own CRM processes.
- (Phase 2) Build partnerships with accelerators and VC firms.
About you: You have spent at least 3–5 years in a GTM or sales role at a startup or scaleup, generating results without much of a playbook. Cold outreach is part of your routine, and you are comfortable following up and finding alternative ways to connect.
You are outgoing and can engage with CFOs or founders easily. You have a genuine interest in startups and finance, and you have experience wearing multiple hats in early-stage environments.
Nice to have:
- Experience with outbound tools - Apollo, Attio, Clay.
- Fluency with AI tools and automation platforms - Claude, Granola, Zapier, n8n, Airtable.
- Exposure to the UK startup or VC ecosystem.
- Comfort using AI to enhance outreach and research.
- Prior founding experience, even at small scale.
