About the role

Enjoy Education is seeking an exceptional Personal Development Director to lead a pioneering bespoke education and development programme for a highly capable student. This is a rare private client role at the intersection of education, mentorship, academic strategy, personal development and future-facing capability. The student is already academically strong and could continue successfully within a traditional school pathway. The purpose of the programme is not remedial, nor simply a private version of school. The ambition is to protect academic excellence while developing the wider judgement, confidence, discipline, intellectual range, commercial fluency and real-world readiness that will shape the student’s long-term trajectory.

The Personal Development Director will act as the central architect of the programme: part headteacher, part strategist, part mentor and part educational designer. They will translate a long-term vision into a coherent, measurable and evolving educational experience, ensuring that academic study, tutors, specialists, enrichment and personal development all work together as one ambitious programme. This reflects the core role specification for a personalised, high-performance education model combining academics, mentorship, enterprise, AI fluency, communication and real-world experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Design and lead the overall education and development programme
  • Coordinate tutors, mentors, specialists and enrichment opportunities
  • Integrate AI literacy, commercial awareness, leadership exposure and applied learning into the programme with equal weighting to academics.
  • Protect and drive strong GCSE, A-Level and future university preparation outcomes
  • Build structure, rhythm and accountability across academic, personal and developmental goals
  • Support the student’s motivation, habits, self-management and executive function
  • Work closely with the family and Enjoy Education to review progress and adapt the programme over time

About you

You will be an educationalist/leader of real calibre: intellectually rigorous, emotionally intelligent, highly organised and excited by what personalised education can become. You are likely to bring:

  • Significant business leadership and/or senior educational leadership experience
  • Strong strategic judgement across development pathways.
  • Experience designing or leading bespoke, personalised or non-traditional education programmes or businesses.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • High levels of discretion, judgement and emotional intelligence
  • Confidence working in a high-expectation private client, international family or UHNW environment
  • A genuine interest in education beyond the traditional curriculum, including technology, AI, entrepreneurship, leadership and applied learning
  • Willingness to be London-based with frequent travel to Dubai, or based in Dubai for significant periods of the programme
  • Experience working with high-profile, international, UHNW or private family contexts would be advantageous.
