Primary English & Maths Tutor (Years 4–6) – Ascot (In Person)
We are seeking an experienced, nurturing tutor to support a bright Year 4 student with English and Maths over the next two academic years.
The student has ADHD and would benefit from a tutor who has experience supporting neurodiverse learners.
He has experienced some challenges settling into his current school, affecting both his confidence and engagement with learning.
The successful tutor will be able to build a strong, trusting relationship, identify any gaps in his learning, and help him rebuild his confidence alongside developing his academic skills.
In addition to helping him catch up with his peers, the tutor will support his preparation for 11+ entrance examinations and transition to independent secondary school.
We are looking for someone who is creative, engaging and able to adapt lessons to suit his learning style, using interactive, hands‑on and gamified approaches where appropriate.
Location: In‑person lessons at the family's home in Ascot (approximately a five‑minute drive from Ascot station). Travel expenses may be covered.
Schedule: Start date is flexible – the family’s main priority is finding someone who is confident in their ability to commit to lessons from September 2026 until summer 2028.
Ideally, tuition will begin during the summer holidays, with 3–4 sessions per week (timings flexible) during the periods 25 July – 1 August and 27 August – 7 September.
From September onwards, lessons will reduce to 1–2 sessions per week and these can take place after school on weekdays.
