We're looking for an experienced Software Engineer with a background in the water industry to join our growing team in Cookstown. This is a genuine opportunity to take ownership of complex, meaningful projects from initial design right through to commissioning on some of the UK's most critical infrastructure. What You'll Be Doing You'll play a central role in delivering high-quality automation and control solutions for water and wastewater clients across the UK and Ireland. Working across the full project lifecycle, your responsibilities will include: Creating detailed design documentation including FDS, system architecture, PLC I/O lists and hardware selection PLC and HMI programming to client standards across multiple platforms Software testing both simulation and hardware-based through to full site commissioning Network setup and integration across multiple PLC systems Telemetry testing and troubleshooting Managing client relationships and communicating technical solutions clearly and confidently This is a role where your expertise shapes infrastructure that millions of people rely on every day.
