Overview
Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our team, delivering new experiences and valuable insights to coaches, athletes, and fans. You’ll drive game-changing initiatives that use cutting-edge computer vision and deep learning at scale to shape the future of sports at every level.
Responsibilities
- Delivering at scale: Design, build, and deploy ML models and systems on both cloud and edge environments, scaling to thousands of simultaneous sports matches.
- Leading projects: Own the work needed to deliver high-impact results for customers and the business, aligned with your team’s quarterly goals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other teams and cross-functional leaders to deliver projects in small increments, ensuring products meet the highest standards.
- Supporting your team: Optimize your team’s ML lifecycle across annotation, training, deployment, and monitoring, so the team can have more impact, faster.
This role is based in London, with flexibility to work from home under our hybrid work policy.
Must Haves
- Technical expertise: Extensive experience in C++/Python, and several of the following: Kubernetes, TensorRT, Nvidia DeepStream, Nvidia Jetson, AWS.
- Product focus: A proven track record of delivering impactful AI/ML products in close collaboration with product teams.
- System experience: Skilled at building, maintaining, and monitoring complex AI/ML systems in production at scale.
Nice to Haves
- Sports industry experience: Applying AI/ML in sports to generate data and/or insights is a plus.
- Deeper systems knowledge: Extra experience in one or more of the following is an asset:
- Developing GPU kernels and/or ML compilers (e.g., CUDA, OpenCL, TensorRT Plugins, MLIR, TVM).
- Optimizing systems to meet strict utilization and latency requirements with tools such as Nvidia NSight.
- Working with embedded SoCs (e.g., Nvidia, Qualcomm).
