We are currently seeking experienced and dedicated General Practitioners (GPs), Consultant Histopathologists, Consultant Psychiatrists, Specialty Doctors, ST3 Doctors, and SHO/FY2-level Doctors for NHS block shifts across Somerset and Bristol. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality medical care to patients in NHS facilities.
- Diagnose and manage a variety of medical conditions in line with NHS standards.
- Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with NHS protocols.
- Participate in ward rounds, assessments, and treatment planning.
- Ensure all required medical documentation and certifications are up to date.
Essential Requirements:
- DBS Certificate (Disclosure and Barring Service)
- GMC Certificate (General Medical Council registration)
- Minimum of 6 months work experience as a doctor in the UK
- For GPs: Proof of Medical Performers List (MPL) Registration or National Performers List Number (A confirmation letter or email from NHS England is acceptable).
Mandatory Training & Practical Certifications:
- Online Mandatory Trainings
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Practical Training
- Moving & Handling/Manual Handling Practical Training
Immunisation Records:
- Varicella/Chicken Pox
- Tuberculosis (TB) or BCG Scar Declaration
- Measles, Mumps & Rubella (MMR) - 2 doses
- Hepatitis B - 3 doses
- Hepatitis B Surface Antigen Test (proof of immunity)
- Hepatitis C Test
- HIV Test (Evidence of HIV I & II antibody test)
