Hours: Part Time – 21 hours over 3 days ideally, but this could be flexible.

Location: Colchester-based (2 days per week in the office)

We are looking for an Email Marketing & Campaigns Executive to support the planning, execution, and optimisation of marketing campaigns. This role will focus on building and delivering targeted email campaigns, supporting marketing events, analysing campaign performance, and ensuring a smooth transition of marketing-qualified leads to the sales team.

The ideal candidate would have experience in email marketing or campaign execution. Familiarity with marketing automation platforms, such as Eloqua, is a bonus but not required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Campaign Management
    • Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across email and digital channels.
    • Ensure campaigns are delivered accurately, on time, and aligned with marketing objectives.
    • Maintain campaign calendars and coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution.
  • Email Marketing
    • Support the creation of and deploy targeted email campaigns to support marketing initiatives and lead generation.
    • Manage email data lists and segmentation to ensure relevant communications to different audiences.
    • Use contact sourcing techniques e.g. LinkedIn and industry platforms to identify and source prospects aligned with campaign objectives and target personas.
    • Monitor email performance and continuously improve engagement and conversion rates.
  • Data & Reporting
    • Track campaign performance and analyse results, including open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.
    • Produce regular reports and insights to inform campaign optimisation.
    • Support the use of marketing data to improve targeting, messaging, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Event Support
    • Assist with marketing events by supporting registration campaigns and attendee communications.
    • Support the management of event sign-ups through email campaigns and marketing platforms.
    • Track registrations and support post-event follow-up campaigns.
    • Coordinate the handover of marketing-qualified leads to the sales team.
    • Ensure lead data is accurately captured and transferred through CRM and marketing systems.
    • Support follow-up campaigns to nurture leads and drive engagement.
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in email marketing or campaign execution.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms, ideally Eloqua, but not essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to analyse marketing data and produce clear reports.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively with marketing and sales teams.
