We are seeking an Oracle CPQ Consultant with a strong configuration-over-customisation mindset and hands-on experience with Oracle CPQ. This role focuses on delivering clean, scalable CPQ solutions using out-of-the-box functionality in either a greenfield or microservices environment. We are seeking someone with immediate or short-notice availability who is comfortable working through an umbrella company and can commit to a contract duration of 2–6 months. The ideal candidate understands how to balance usability, performance, and maintainability, and knows when configuration—not scripting—is the right solution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement Oracle CPQ Cloud (BigMachines) solutions using standard configuration and pricing capabilities
  • Run workshops to define the best solution and write design specifications alongside a wider team
  • Build product models, attributes, rules, and constraints
  • Configure pricing logic, discounting, approvals, and workflows with minimal custom scripting
  • Apply BML scripting only when necessary, following best practices and supportability standards
  • Optimize Commerce, Configurator, and Quote UI layouts using Redwood components and patterns
  • Ensure consistent and intuitive user experience across CPQ flows
  • Maintain data tables and attribute models supporting configuration and pricing logic
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to simplify requirements and reduce unnecessary customization
  • Support integrations with CRM and ERP systems using standard Oracle CPQ integration patterns
  • Troubleshoot configuration, UI, and data issues across environments
  • Participate in UAT, releases, and production support
  • Document configuration, Redwood UI decisions, and design standards
Experience Required
  • 5+ years of experience with Oracle CPQ Cloud (BigMachines)
  • Strong experience with CPQ configuration, product modelling, and rule-based logic
  • Solid understanding of pricing strategies, discounting models, and approval flows
  • Experience configuring CPQ UI components with a focus on usability and consistency
  • Strong understanding of CPQ data models and data tables
  • Ability to translate business requirements into simple, maintainable CPQ designs
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience migrating or refactoring legacy CPQ UIs to Redwood-aligned designs
  • Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
  • Exposure to Agile / Scrum delivery models
  • Oracle CPQ certification

Daily Rate: negotiable (please state your requirements when applying)
