We are seeking an Oracle CPQ Developer with a strong configuration-over-customisation mindset and hands-on experience with Oracle CPQ Redwood UI. This role focuses on delivering clean, scalable CPQ solutions using out-of-the-box functionality, declarative configuration, and Redwood-aligned UI patterns, minimising custom code wherever possible. The ideal candidate understands how to balance usability, performance, and maintainability, and knows when configuration—not scripting—is the right solution.

Key responsibilities
- Design and implement Oracle CPQ Cloud (BigMachines) solutions using standard configuration and pricing capabilities
- Run workshops to define the best solution and write design specifications alongside a wider team.
- Build product models, attributes, rules, and constraints using declarative CPQ tools
- Configure pricing logic, discounting, approvals, and workflows with minimal custom scripting
- Apply BML scripting only when necessary, following best practices and supportability standards
- Configure and maintain Redwood UI–based CPQ experiences, aligning with Oracle UX guidelines
- Optimize Commerce, Configurator, and Quote UI layouts using Redwood components and patterns
- Ensure consistent and intuitive user experience across CPQ flows
- Maintain data tables and attribute models supporting configuration and pricing logic
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to simplify requirements and reduce unnecessary customization
- Support integrations with CRM and ERP systems using standard Oracle CPQ integration patterns
- Troubleshoot configuration, UI, and data issues across environments
- Participate in UAT, releases, and production support
- Document configuration, Redwood UI decisions, and design standards
Experience required
- 3+ years of experience with Oracle CPQ Cloud (BigMachines)
- Strong experience with CPQ configuration, product modeling, and rule-based logic
- Solid understanding of pricing strategies, discounting models, and approval flows
- Working knowledge of BML, with a preference for low-code, declarative solutions
- Experience configuring CPQ UI components with a focus on usability and consistency
- Strong understanding of CPQ data models and data tables
- Ability to translate business requirements into simple, maintainable CPQ designs
Preferred qualifications
- Experience migrating or refactoring legacy CPQ UIs to Redwood-aligned designs
- Familiarity with Oracle Fusion Sales or Salesforce CPQ integrations
- Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
- Exposure to Agile / Scrum delivery models
