Senior Safety Engineer – 32107 About EniProgetti UK Branch EniProgetti is wholly owned by Eni, the global energy company. EniProgetti performs a key role developing projects and providing expert engineering support to Eni businesses worldwide. The company has an integrated operation office in the UK in Basingstoke. EniProgetti is currently helping to lead Eni in the energy transition from traditional business areas with decarbonised solutions such as CCS (Carbon Capture and Storage) to innovative project such as renewables, hydrogen, etc. The office is a landmark feature on Basing View in central Basingstoke, with ample free parking and only a five-minute walk from the mainline railway station. Role Overview We are looking for a Senior Engineer, Safety to act as part of the Safety and Environment team across projects, potentially acting as the Project Discipline Leader on individual projects. You will be advising projects on HSE regulatory compliance. Responsibilities (including but not limited to) Production of project safety and environmental deliverables (HSE Plans, HSE Philosophy, ToR\’s for Safety workshops, waste management plans etc). Attending safety workshops (HAZID/ENVID, HAZOP, SIL), Safety action management and sign off Liaising with clients and at times external stakeholders. Acting as Project Discipline Lead (PDL) for projects, ensuring deliverables are issued to support the project schedule. Providing technical support on HSE matters to other disciplines Technical review of contractor documentation Knowledge and Experience Demonstratable experience working on energy projects, including oil and gas design projects. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to produce high quality deliverable on schedule. UK regulatory knowledge Experience of working to IFC and world bank standards Demonstratable experience in safety / environmental engineering Strong HSE knowledge Ability to prepare high quality HSE engineering documentation Ability to critically review others work Experience in site surveys.
