Tired of London commuting? Join a collaborative and close-knit ops team just outside the city, where you’ll have the chance to lead global research projects, manage junior team members, and actually enjoy being in the office again (twice a week – with flexible working the rest of the time).
We’re looking for a Senior Project Manager with solid online quantitative fieldwork experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to keep multiple plates spinning at once. This isn’t a coordinator role — we need someone hands-on and ready to lead.
This role will suit candidates working in project management roles or fieldwork management roles in full service MR agencies or fieldwork/panel companies.
What you’ll be doing:
- Own and run B2B research projects end-to-end, liaising with fieldwork partners and internal teams.
- Manage budgets, timelines, quotas, suppliers, and data quality checks.
- Line manage 1–2 junior team members (Project executive level).
- Troubleshoot, check survey scripts, and ensure projects meet high ethical and compliance standards.
- Support proposal costings and continuous improvements to project delivery.
Must-haves:
- Strong background in fieldwork operations for online quant research.
- Project management confidence – you’ll be both a doer and a leader.
- Experience with stakeholder management and internal team briefings.
- Line management or supervisory experience.
You’ll fit right in if you’re:
- Detail-driven, proactive, collaborative, and calm under pressure.
- Someone who thrives on structure but brings fresh ideas.
Why this role?
- Hybrid working: 2 days in the office (Wednesdays one of your choice), up to 3 days remote.
- Friendly and experienced team of 9 in Ops – small enough to make a big impact.
- Great location near Newbury station with gated parking available.
- Real development opportunities as the company is growing.
Package includes:
- Salary £33–38k DOE.
- Up to 10% performance bonus.
- 25 days holiday (bank holidays), rising with service.
- Healthcare cash plan & supportive, flexible working culture.
Start date: ASAP (but flexible for the right person).
