An established building services contractor is seeking an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join its team, supporting continued growth across commercial projects. With over 40 years' trading history and a current turnover of approximately £5m, the business has built a strong reputation for delivering mechanical and electrical packages, typically on projects up to £2m in value.

This role has been created to support the next phase of growth, particularly within VRF and VRV air conditioning packages, and to reduce the estimating workload currently managed at Director level. You will take ownership of the estimating function, producing accurate and competitive tenders while supporting the wider commercial and operational teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed mechanical estimates for commercial projects up to £2m
  • Review drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
  • Carry out take-offs and pricing from first principles
  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations
