A leading nationwide building services contractor is seeking a technically strong Mechanical Engineer to support the delivery of major residential projects through the pre-construction and procurement phases. This role sits between pre-construction and project delivery, taking ownership of the technical and procurement elements of projects from Stage 3/4 design through to Stage 5 delivery.
The position would suit someone from a site management or project delivery background who has developed strong technical knowledge and is now looking to move away from the day-to-day pressures of running live sites while remaining heavily involved in project delivery and engineering coordination.
Role Overview
You will take responsibility for managing the technical progression of projects through design development, procurement, technical submissions, and plant selection, ensuring projects are fully coordinated and prepared for successful delivery on site. Working closely with estimating, design, commercial, and operational teams, you will act as a key link between pre-construction and project execution.
