A leading Design & Build fit-out contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Technical Services Manager to join its growing London team.
The business delivers some of the UK's highest-quality commercial office and laboratory fit-out projects, with a reputation for technical excellence, collaborative delivery and exceptional finish. Working on projects ranging from £5 million to £20 million, you'll play a key role in ensuring M&E services are coordinated, buildable and delivered to the highest possible standard.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Technical Services Manager or Senior Building Services Manager looking to join a business delivering complex, high-specification projects.
The Role
Working across multiple projects, you will provide technical leadership from tender stage through to commissioning and handover.
You'll work closely with Pre-Construction, Design, Commercial and Project Delivery teams, ensuring all M&E elements are fully coordinated, technically compliant and buildable before construction begins, while continuing to support projects through delivery.
This is a strategic role with a high-level overview of projects, becoming involved where your technical expertise adds the greatest value, particularly during key project milestones and complex installation phases.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical leadership across commercial office and laboratory fit-out projects.
Review tender documentation, drawings and specifications to ensure complete and buildable M&E packages.
Identify design risks, clashes and opportunities before construction begins.
Coordinate consultants, designers and specialist subcontractors.
Review technical submissions, RFIs, samples and design changes.
Support Project Managers throughout the construction phase.
Attend site during key installation milestones and critical phases of the programme.
Oversee commissioning strategy, witnessing and final handover.
Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with design intent, programme and quality expectations.
