Electrical Pre-Construction Manager

£55,000-£75,000 DOE
A growing and ambitious Electrical Contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Pre-Construction Manager to join its expanding team.
The business has built a strong reputation for delivering fast-track commercial fit-out and Design & Build projects across London and is now looking to strengthen its pre-construction function as the business continues to grow.

The Role
You will take responsibility for the electrical pre-construction process, working closely with clients, consultants, estimating, design and project delivery teams to ensure projects are fully developed and commercially viable before entering construction.
You'll play a key role in reviewing project requirements, coordinating design information, identifying risks and opportunities and ensuring projects are properly prepared for successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the electrical pre-construction process from initial enquiry through to project commencement.
- Review tender documentation, drawings, specifications and client requirements.
- Coordinate with design teams to ensure electrical designs are developed and buildable.
- Identify technical, programme and commercial risks at an early stage.
- Work closely with the estimating and commercial teams during tendering.
- Review and develop scopes of work and technical submissions.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Assist with procurement and supply chain engagement.
- Support value engineering and identify opportunities to add value.
- Ensure projects are properly prepared and handed over to the delivery team.
- Work closely with Project Managers to ensure a smooth transition from pre-construction into delivery.
