We are working with a well-established main contractor specialising in high-quality fit out and refurbishment projects across London and the South East. As their pipeline continues to grow, they are now seeking an experienced Technical Services Manager to join the team, overseeing all MEP elements across multiple schemes. Based out of their Kent office, you will play a key role in ensuring building services are delivered to the highest standard — from design through to commissioning and handover.
The Role:
- Manage MEP design coordination and ensure compliance with client, consultant and regulatory requirements
- Oversee M&E subcontractors and ensure work is delivered safely, on time, and to quality standards
- Act as the technical point of contact for all building services queries across your projects
- Provide guidance to site teams and assist in resolving any MEP-related issues
- Support tendering and procurement of services trades
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure commissioning, O&M documentation and handover is carried out smoothly
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar Technical Services Manager or MEP Manager role within fit out, refurbishment or new build
- Strong understanding of both mechanical and electrical systems
- Proven background working for a principal contractor or consultancy
- Excellent coordination and problem-solving skills
- Able to communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors and design teams
- Knowledge of current building regulations and services best practices
