A busy and growing M&E subcontractor is seeking an Electrical Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of electrical packages across a range of commercial office fit out, infrastructure and refurbishment projects. This role offers exposure to high-value, fast-paced projects and would suit someone who is confident managing costs, valuations and commercial reporting within an electrical contracting environment.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years' experience as an Electrical Quantity Surveyor
- Background in commercial fit out, infrastructure or refurbishment projects
- Preferably qualified to ONC / HNC / BSc or similar in Quantity Surveying
- Strong commercial and contractual awareness
- Able to work independently and as part of a project team
Location, Hours & Package
- Salary: £45,000-£75,000 (experience dependent)
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
- Location: Primarily Canary Wharf / site-based, with projects across London & Essex
- Holiday: 25 days + Bank Holidays
- Pension: 5% employer contribution
- Paid travel & fuel card
Key Responsibilities
- Financial management of electrical contracts
- Preparing and managing monthly cost reports
- Budget analysis and identifying commercial risks or variations
- Preparing valuations and submitting applications for payment
- Producing monthly project valuations and cost reports
- Preparing variation quotations and supporting documentation
- Attending client and site meetings as required
