As the Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for developing designs from concept through to completion, working closely with project and construction teams. Over time, you will have the opportunity to build and lead your own design team as the business continues to expand.
Key Responsibilities- Produce detailed mechanical designs for commercial projects (CAT A & B fit outs, refurbishments, etc.)
- Work with the pre-construction and project delivery teams to develop efficient, buildable solutions.
- Attend client and design coordination meetings.
- Support design validation and value engineering processes.
- Ensure all designs meet relevant standards and client requirements.
- Experience within a building services design role.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD or Revit.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems (HVAC, pipework, public health).
- Desire to grow within a developing business and take on leadership responsibilities in the future.
