An established and highly respected building services contractor is launching a new regional division focused on delivering projects across Norwich and the surrounding areas and is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to play a key role in its growth and success.
The new division will focus on technically challenging projects within the Data Centre, Life Sciences, and Education sectors, offering the opportunity to become part of an exciting growth strategy from the outset. You will take the mechanical lead on projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover, working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery. - Lead the mechanical package from design coordination through to commissioning and handover
- Act as the primary client-facing lead for mechanical delivery
- Coordinate consultants, subcontractors, and site management teams
- Manage programme, quality, health & safety, and commercial performance
- Control variations, reporting, commissioning, and mechanical final accounts
- Support and mentor junior engineers, supervisors, and apprentices
- Assist with pre-construction activities and project planning where required
Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager on large-scale building services projects is essential, along with experience delivering projects within Data Centres, Life Sciences, Education, Healthcare, or similarly complex environments. Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills are required, as well as a solid understanding of Design & Build procurement and commercial processes.
