An established and growing M E contractor is looking to appoint an Electrical Contracts Manager to join their Projects division. This is an urgent requirement due to an internal promotion within the electrical team. The business currently has a strong contracts management structure in place, with a balanced mechanical and electrical team. This role will take responsibility for 3-4 live projects at any one time, typically ranging between £2m-£5m in electrical value.
The Role
- Oversee multiple electrical projects simultaneously
- Act as the senior point of coordination between project management, commercial/QS, and design teams
- Provide high-level oversight rather than day-to-day site management
- Support and challenge project teams to ensure programme, cost and quality targets are met
- Attend site as required, while remaining predominantly office based
- Maintain strong internal communication across delivery teams
- Ensure projects are delivered in line with company procedures and client expectations
Each project will have a full-time Project Manager in place; this role is about pulling the wider team together and ensuring smooth delivery across the portfolio.

- Strong electrical background within building services
