We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established electrical contractor that works extensively across councils, housing associations, and infrastructure projects. They are looking for an Electrical Contracts Manager to take ownership of projects ranging from GBP100k to GBP6 million, covering mains and infrastructure upgrades, lighting, emergency lighting, and lateral mains upgrades.

You will have the autonomy to manage your own projects from start to finish, with the support of a collaborative and experienced team.

The Role:

• Overseeing multiple electrical projects from inception to completion.
• Managing clients, engineers, and subcontractors, ensuring smooth project delivery.
• Handling project planning, resource allocation, and financial management.
• Ensuring compliance with health & safety and industry regulations.
• Using Office 365, Excel, and other software tools to manage project documentation.
• Managing projects in older building stock (1960s construction) and ensuring proficiency in metal containment and ICR testing.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as an Electrical Contracts Manager, ideally within council and housing association projects.
• Strong ability to multi-task and work under pressure while managing client relationships effectively.
• Proficiency in Excel, Office 365, and project management software.
• Experience with metal containment, ICR testing, and infrastructure upgrades.
• Motivated, proactive, and able to run projects with minimal supervision.
