Relief Chef for 22 Care Homes in Herts, Beds, Bucks, Cambs & Essex.
Pay: £31,990 per annum plus £5,500 car allowance.
Shift Time: Day time hours, 37 hours a week. (Not working every weekend)
Type: Full-Time
This role will involve:
- Working with the Support Services Manager to provide chef cover and support to the homes catering teams in delivering a safe, nutritious, cost effective quality service to all customers.
- Planning and developing standard recipes and menus across the homes.
- Working with our residents to support the creation of new menus to meet their needs and suit their tastes.
- The opportunity to be involved in our fine dining events, using QC's award-winning Dining Club concept.
To be successful in your application, you will be:
- Well organised.
- Able to lead a team in the absence of the Chef Manager.
- Sensitive to the needs of older people.
- Willing to travel to our different homes when needed. You must drive for this role due to the different locations of the care homes.
