Permanent Role £28,000 per year at a Private School (Boarding). Enhance Catering is recruiting an experienced Chef de Partie to join a friendly kitchen team in your area. This position is ideal for chefs looking for structured shifts, daytime hours, and a better work-life balance while still working in a professional kitchen.

The Role: We are looking for a talented Chef de Partie to join our team at one of our prestigious locations in Dover, catering for over 500 students and teachers. We offer a core feeding of Breakfast, Lunch, Supper and a cafe. There will be a good amount of hospitality offering at this location. This school operates 7 days a week, so working patterns are 5 out of 7 days and has additional benefits of free parking and use of on-site gym.

You will have previous experience of working within a fast-paced kitchen at CDP or junior sous chef level. You will be excited to work with fresh seasonal ingredients & regularly changing bespoke menus. You will be creative and have the opportunity to showcase your skillset.

Key responsibilities:
  • To work well in a team of chefs providing catering services to pupils and teachers.
  • To produce food for service using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch and following the company's brand standards.
  • Ensuring company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled.
  • Ensuring all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed.

Knowledge / competencies:
