EFT Construction is looking for an experienced Senior Bid Writer to join its growing in-house work-winning function.
This is more than a traditional bid writing role. You’ll play an important part in securing new contracts and framework opportunities, working closely with senior leaders, pre-construction, estimating, commercial and operational teams.
As the business continues to grow, there is a clear opportunity for the successful candidate to develop into a future Bid Manager position.
The role will include:
- Writing and managing PQQs, SQs, ITTs, framework submissions, method statements and case studies
- Turning technical construction information into persuasive, high-scoring responses
- Supporting bid strategy, storyboarding and win themes
- Managing multiple submissions and deadlines
- Developing bid content libraries and improving processes
- Reviewing tender feedback and continuously improving submission quality
- Using technology and AI-assisted tools to improve bid development and efficiency
We’re looking for someone with:
- 3–5+ years’ experience in bid/proposal writing or tender management
- Experience within construction, refurbishment, engineering or the wider built environment
- Strong knowledge of construction tendering and procurement
- Exceptional written English and attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple bids and work effectively under deadline pressure
- A collaborative, commercially minded approach
Public sector/framework bidding experience, InDesign skills and experience developing bid processes would be advantageous.
