I am in my mid 60βs, a wheelchair user. I am an amputee with a lung disease and need support with daily living. I also take regular medication. It takes me some time to get used to new people. I used to enjoy crocheting and knitting prior to having issues with arthritis. I like to do word searches to keep my brain active, which helps me to spell as I am dyslexic and reduces my anxiety. I paint by numbers on my phone. I had a stroke some time ago, and at times I might not finish my sentences. However, my mind is still sharp, and I have varied experiences, including a care background and work in probation.
Duties:
- Support with my daily routine.
- Support with personal care.
- Assistance with meal preparation.
- Help to maintain a clean living environment.
- Support to access the community.
Hours: Casual staff β 5.6 weeks holiday and sickness cover
Rate: Β£12.21 per hour
Driver is needed.
