We are seeking a hands-on Mid-Senior Level Control Systems Engineer, who will lead project development and testing of PLC/HMI/SCADA software for projects within the water industry. You will take technical ownership across the lifecycle of projects, including interpreting requirements and producing software and documentation that meets clients’ technical requirements.

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years in industrial automation, with proven hands-on PLC/HMI/SCADA development (Ladder Logic) and testing.
  • Proven experience in leading full project lifecycles: (IO Schedules, FDS, PLC Code, HMI Code, SCADA, iFAT, cFAT, SAT)
  • Strong ability to interpret P&IDs, URS, Telemetry Schedules, Control Philosophies, Instrument Schedules, MCC tick sheets, and Electrical Drawings.
  • Proven experience with at least one of the following vendors: (Mitsubishi/Allen Bradley/Siemens/Schneider).
  • Proficiency in software testing.
  • Experience in commissioning and site support.
  • Comfortable working on client sites.
  • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills for autonomous project work and team support.
  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility for site travel.
