We are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of performance and achieving success on track. We are currently looking for committed, hands-on and motivated individuals with a practical background to lead our dynamic business.
Job Overview: As our Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in the success of our motorsport team by leading the operations and management of our organisation and hand on overseeing our racing programs. This position requires strong leadership, organisational skills, and a deep understanding of racing with a practical background, as you will be responsible for running our organisation and team on and off the track.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership: Lead and motivate all staff and racing team members, including drivers, engineers, mechanics, and support staff. Create a positive and high-performance team culture, fostering teamwork, communication, and a commitment to excellence.
Budget and Resource Management: Manage the organisational and project budgets, including allocation of funds for race events, vehicle maintenance, and team development. Procure necessary resources, equipment, and parts while adhering to the financial constraints of the programmes / business.
Operations: Be responsible for the daily operations of the business including, Admin and coordination, workshop and logistics whilst working closely with the CEO to ensure Finance targets are met.
Plan, coordinate, manage, and execute all aspects of racing events, including logistics, travel, accommodations and scheduling.
Ensure that all team members are well-prepared and equipped for each race.
Sponsorship and Stakeholder Relations: Manage relationships with sponsors, partners, supply-chain and stakeholders to secure financial and operational support for the team in conjunction with the CEO. Represent the team professionally in public relations and media interactions.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure that the organisation operates within the legal requirement and rules and regulations of championships we operate in and that safety measures are adhered to at all times.
