About Us

At London Civils, we deliver complex engineering solutions where high-end civils meet stringent security environments. Our Specialist Projects Division operates across highly regulated, critical national infrastructure (CNI) sectors, including government estates, data centres, aviation, and sensitive transport hubs. We specialize in delivering heavy civils, structural concrete, and utility infrastructure under intense operational and security constraints.

Due to a series of major framework wins across London and the Home Counties, we are looking for a Senior Project Manager who can successfully lead high-value infrastructure packages while maintaining absolute discretion and compliance.

The Role

This role requires a unique blend of civil engineering expertise and meticulous operational discipline. As a Project Manager within our Specialist Projects team, you will take full delivery ownership of packages ranging from £10m to £30m in value. You will navigate complex, live sites where security protocols dictate logistics, access, and daily programmes. Your job is to keep the project moving on time and on budget without ever compromising the strict security boundaries of the asset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Delivery: Lead high-complexity civils packages (e.g., deep excavations, reinforced concrete structures, secure perimeter civils, and critical utility diversions) from pre-construction to handover.
  • Security Management: Ensure 100% compliance with client-specific security protocols, including vetting management for all site personnel, delivery tracking, and strict information security.
  • Commercial Control: Robustly manage project financials, risk registers, and variations using NEC3/NEC4 contract forms (typically Option A or C).
  • Stakeholder Interface: Act as the primary interface between Tier 1 partners, end-client security teams, and internal engineering teams to ensure seamless project integration.
  • Safety & Quality: Drive a rigorous safety culture on-site, ensuring quality assurance (QA) records are meticulously maintained to meet stringent client hand‑over standards.

Security Clearance Requirements

CRITICAL REQUIREMENT: Due to the nature of the sites and assets you will be working on, candidates must hold, or be eligible to achieve, UK Security Clearance (minimum SC level). To qualify for this vetting process, you must typically have been a continuous resident in the UK for the past 5 years and hold a valid British passport or unrestricted Right to Work.
