We’re seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer for ongoing construction projects across the Midlands. This is a hands-on contract role covering full setting-out duties and responsibility for quality and technical compliance on site. This role will suit an engineer comfortable owning the engineering function on site — not a setting-out-only position.
Responsibilities
- Full site set-out and engineering control
- Establishing and checking control points and coordinates
- Setting out drainage, foundations, brickwork, and steel frame
- Signing off steel frame installations
- Engineering supervision of groundworks and structural works
- Managing QA, inspections, and site records to maintain the project “golden thread”
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior / Site Engineer on civils and structural projects
- Strong setting-out capability using industry-standard equipment
- Confident managing QA documentation and site records
- Ability to work across multiple sites in the Midlands
- Valid right to work in the UK
