The Role
Reporting to the Head of Construction, you will be the technical lead bridging the gap between design and site delivery. You’ll ensure all engineering activities are safe, compliant, and technically sound across multiple simultaneous projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Assurance: Lead design reviews, verification, and site inspections.
- Documentation: Produce and review RAMS, Method Statements, and HSEQ docs.
- Liaison: Manage technical interfaces between Clients, Designers, and Contractors.
- Problem Solving: Resolve site-based technical issues and "clashes" in real-time.
- Pre-Construction: Support bids and feasibility studies with technical expertise.
Requirements
- Degree: Engineering or Construction Management (Civil preferred, M&E/Fire considered).
- Experience: 3–5 years in construction/infrastructure with a focus on site operations.
- Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit and a strong grasp of CDM 2015.
- Mindset: Ability to handle fast-paced, shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
