We’re looking for an experienced Setting Out Engineer for an initial 8-week contract on a busy site in North West London, starting Monday 23rd March.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for general setting out duties, ensuring works are delivered accurately and in line with drawings and site requirements.

Responsibilities include:

  • Setting out works and checking levels (cut & fill)
  • Using UTS / robotic total station to transfer design information onto site
  • Establishing and maintaining control points
  • Carrying out as-built checks and surveys
  • Completing site documentation including ITPs, cube sheets, and site diary updates

Experience Required

  • Previous experience working as a Setting Out Engineer on construction or civil engineering projects
  • Experience on large or fast-paced sites
  • Confident using UTS / robotic total stations for setting out

Tickets

  • Essential: CSCS
  • Desirable (not essential): SSSTS / SMSTS, ALO (Any Line Open), TWS (Temporary Works Supervisor)

Equipment

Own survey kit / UTS preferred, but equipment can be provided if required.

  • Start: Monday 23rd March
  • Duration: Minimum 8 weeks
  • Location: North West London
  • Hours: Standard site hours, with optional Saturday work available
