We're working with a leading UK construction contractor seeking an experienced Internal Site Manager to join a major high-rise residential development in Cardiff. Working closely with the Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of internal construction packages, ensuring works are completed safely, compliantly, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage internal construction works from installation through to completion
- Coordinate multiple subcontractors across various work fronts
- Oversee drylining, SFS, fire stopping, compartmentation, fire doors, ceilings, joinery, and finishing packages
- Drive quality assurance, inspections, snagging, and defect resolution
- Ensure compliance with fire safety requirements and project specifications
- Support sectional completions and phased handovers
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, quality, and programme performance
Requirements
- Proven experience managing internal works on high-rise residential developments
- Strong technical knowledge of drylining, SFS, fire stopping, compartmentation, fire doors, and fit-out packages
- Experience managing multiple subcontractors simultaneously
- Strong understanding of quality assurance and compliance processes
- SMSTS, CSCS Black Card, and First Aid certifications
- Passive Fire Protection or Fire Door Inspection qualifications
- HNC/HND/Degree in Construction or related discipline
- Experience on student accommodation or mixed-use developments
