Participate in training, development and appraisal processes necessary to fulfil the role;
Support the ESFA Council to fulfil its responsibilities;
Act with high standards of professionalism, business integrity and personal conduct at all times;
Act as an ambassador for the ESFA in the conduct of all business;
Comply with the requirements of the staff handbook;
Comply with the Association’s safeguarding requirements and contribute to the delivery of the ESFA’s safeguarding plans;
Use best endeavours to support others in the achievement of their objectives;
Conduct any other duties as may reasonably be required by the employer.
Special considerations in this role
The role will require some travel and occasional overnight stays, as well as periodic weekend working. The ESFA operates a TOIL policy for such occasions. The ESFA is committed to safeguarding the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. Applicants will be expected to undertake training in this subject and may be required to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service. Checks on online presence may also be periodically made.
