MAIN PURPOSE: Responsible in supporting a Commercial Manager, and or managing the delivery of sales and profit with a portfolio of channel customers. Through the building of strong customer relationships, identifying and unlocking sales and profit growth opportunities and supporting the Channel team to deliver against the Commercial Channel Strategy.

Role:

  • Develop, execute, manage and support along with the Commercial Manager the sales strategies for the channel to achieve sales and budget targets.
  • Manage the customer relationship for a portfolio of channel customers.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with current or new customers in line with the annual sales plan.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, understand Category data and where appropriate work alongside the Category Team to provide actionable insight, with the Customer.
  • Collaborate cross functionally and through the business processes with Technical, Development, Supply Chain and Planning to ensure excellent execution of NPD, EPD and reintroductions.
  • Responsible for the overall launch of products through the Gated Launch process including the management of critical paths and costings. Working cross functionally to successfully launch any NPD and EPD.
  • Manage the regular uploading of customer forecast data to support the financial and operational planning for your portfolio of customers.
  • Assess, analyse and course correct forecasts to drive >80% forecast accuracy.
  • Completion of all customer and sales admin required for new launches, EPD, reintroductions and delists including event trackers, price uploads, forecasts and delist notification.
  • Using the delist process proactively manage all aspects of WASTE for your customers.
  • Prepare data for periodic customer business reviews, Joint Business Planning and updates.
  • Track Sales.
