MAIN PURPOSE:
Be an ambassador for setting and training operational standards of site employees. Subject Matter Expert, fully utilising Papaya to monitor and maintain the operational training compliance. Supporting the Operations Team in delivering training to company employees
RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY TASKS
1. Portray a positive image of the company, promote and adhere to the company values at all times.
2. Act as a role model to operational employees, ensuring good operational standards are always carried out.
3. Work with the HR team in ensuring there is a robust induction and training plan for all new starters.
4. Work with Shift Managers and Supervisors to ensure training and development is carried out to meet site training standards and budgets.
5. Train existing and new employees on company processes and machines within the operations area's to the highest standard, following the SOP's guide.
6. Utilise TTT in order to roll out probationary training and also assist with refresher training for existing employees
7. Work with the operational SME's to audit SOP's and update where required
8. Ensure that competency based tests are carried out on production employees to ensure they are following the correct procedures and instructions.
9. Research continuous improvement for all operations employees liaising with line managers and supervisors.
10. Work with the Training co-ordinator to ensure that papaya is set up and working in a way which benefits the operational training compliance
11. Understand health and safety standards for safety in the workplace and manual handling.
12. Using Papaya monitor the performance of team members to support their achievement of production, team development and training objectives.
13. Through training delivery and compliance ensure that we make product as we declare on the label, in line with our Brand Integrity (QMP059) policy
14. Through training delivery and compliance ensure processes/ product are developed and produced to guarantee food safety and product claim, if any, is maintained in line with our Brand Integrity (QMP059) Policy. This needs to cover but is not limited to
a. Allergen management
b. Brand integrity
c. Basic food safety/ hygiene requirements
d. Cross contamination
15. To ensure that the legality, safety, quality, authenticity of products is maintained through EPC, and to ensure they are produced to required specification
16. Adhere to all company rules and procedures, paying particular attention to health and safety.
